Clover’s Refit Update: Nearing a Major Milestone!

After a five-month haul out at Svensens Bay Marine Boatyard in Richmond, California, Clover is nearing completion of another significant phase in her restoration journey! Over the past months, she’s received:

- 140+ linear feet of planking replaced

- Eight new stainless steel floor structures installed in the bow

- Extensive repairs to many frames and the entire bow section

With a grant from TMF and other sources, these upgrades are returning tremendous strength to Clover, preparing her for her new rig and the next chapter in her story.  Clover is now six years into an extensive refit, with about two more years to go. Once complete, she’ll fulfill her mission with the Vet Boats Foundation - taking veterans sailing for the first time and providing healing, camaraderie, and adventure on the water.
